Essa Township Fire Chief Cynthia Ross Tustin was elected President of the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs at its annual AGM last week.
Chief Ross-Tustin was a Vice-President of the outgoing seven member executive committee. She has been Essa's chief for the past five years.
The Association represents the chief fire officers of the 448 municipal fire departments in the Province of Ontario.
