The City of Cambridge is proud to announce that Jessica Buczynski , a dedicated fire and life safety educator with the Cambridge Fire Department, has been recognized by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) as a 2025 NFPA Rising Star.
The annual Rising Star recognition celebrates individuals who have successfully implemented NFPA programs and initiatives in their communities, including educational campaigns such as Fire Prevention Week , Learn Not to Burn®, and Steps to Safety .
Jessica is one of just 10 fire and life safety educators across North America who received this award and was nominated for her innovative and enthusiastic approach to community outreach and education in Cambridge.
