London News Today

The cause is going down as undetermined for now after a fire broke out at a manufacturing facility in Ridgetown over the weekend.

Chatham-Kent firefighters were called to the scene at Waltron Trailer Manufacturing on Marsh Road shortly after 5 a.m. Saturday and heavy smoke was already coming out of the back of the building by the time they arrived.

CK fire officials said the crews were able to contain the fire and no injuries were reported.

An excavator was brought in to help put out the fire and the damage was estimated at $2 million.
