A food processing plant in Oakville was reported to have caught fire Tuesday night endangering nearly 50 staff members.
A freelancer told CHCH News emergency crews responded to flames shooting through the roof at around 10 p.m. at a Pinty’s Delicious Foods Inc. on Bristol Circle.
Nearly 50 staff members were reported to have taken shelter in transit buses to avoid both the fire and the rain.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation as the building was reported to have damaged extensively.
