OPP officials allege: A transport truck fire slows traffic on Highway 402 overnight in Middlesex Centre.
On July 4, 2024, at 3:16 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Middlesex Centre Fire department were dispatched to Highway 402 Eastbound at Carriage Road in Middlesex Centre, for the report of a transport truck on fire.
One lane of the highway was closed for approximately two hours as emergency crews were on scene.
The vehicle has been removed and the highway is fully open.
There were no injuries reported.
