Perth County Ontario Provincial Police’s major crimes unit is now investigating a suspicious overnight shed fire near Milverton that caused $1.5 million in damages.
Perth County OPP and the Perth East Fire Department responded to the blaze on Line 67, just west of Perth Road 131, on Wednesday after 2 a.m. There were no occupants in the structure at the time, police said, and there were no injuries as a result of the fire.
The fire’s cause is still under investigation. The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has also been consulted, and updates will be provided when available.
