Multiple families are displaced after a fire broke out at an apartment building in Cambridge.
It happened Monday around 6 p.m. on Caledonian View near Eagle Street.
According to the Cambridge Fire Department, the fire was contained to one unit although some others sustained water and smoke damage. Total damage is estimated around $150,000.
The fire department is crediting working smoke alarms for the safe evacuation of all the tenants.
No one was hurt and The Red Cross is assisting those who are displaced.
While the cause of the fire has not been released at this time, it is not deemed suspicious.
