A fire at Niagara’s Best Inn hotel broke out late Wednesday.
Emergency crews were called out to the structure fire on Ferry Street around 10:30 p.m.
No one was injured, but the building sustained heavy damage.
Fire officials say that the fire began in one of the second floor rooms before it spread to two others, adding that 24 firefighters responded to the scene and that it was under control before 11 p.m.
Witness video circulating on social media captured the inferno.
Residents standing outside can be heard yelling while fire crews arrive on scene.
