I am deeply saddened to pass on word that Rich Morris passed away this morning at around 9 AM with his family by his side. Rich was a leading fire safety figure in Canada and one of the initial champions for smoke alarms in homes. Recently he was involved with the Fire Marshals Public Fire Safety Council, and Canadian Fire Alarm Association. He was a mentor for many fire safety professionals and a true prince of a gentleman.
Visitation shall be over the weekend will be at R. S. Kane and the funeral service on Monday at St. Gabriel’s in North York, Ontario. The funeral home shall be maintaining an online condolences book at: http://www.rskane.ca/runtime.php?SiteId=3381&NavigatorId=56338
