Directly reporting Deputy Fire Chief, Training and Emergency Management this position will be responsible for developing, instructing, updating, and maintaining training programs and preparing fire service members to deliver safe and effective rapid intervention at emergencies.

Position Summary
This position provides fire safety and fire prevention education to the public; enforces the Fire Code (Ontario) and other relevant legislation and standards; conducts inspections and performs minor maintenance of facilities and equipment. Acts as the Chief Fire Official for specific duties and the Incident Safety Officer and Firefighter back up as required.
