Quinte West Fire & Rescue is alerting people to a number of grassfires it has dealt with in the last two weeks.
Fire Chief John Whelan tells Quinte News the fire department has dealt with three grass fires including one on Monday around the Rosebush area.
Residents are reminded that even with no fire ban in effect, you must be mindful of conditions when starting an open fire.
