Last night 20 firefighters from Greater Napanee, Deseronto, and Addington Highlands graduated from the L&A County Firefighter Recruit Program.
Since 2012, this program has trained new firefighters from local departments together. This ensures all recruits start with the same knowledge to work safely and efficiently.
The Town of Greater Napanee and its partners commend the recent graduates for their dedication and will continue recruiting paid on-call firefighters, with new training starting in September 2024.
