Who: The Township of Chatsworth Fire Department is putting on their 4th annual 9/11 memorial
Stair Climb
What: This is an event to not only recognize and pay acknowledgment to the firefighters and first
responders who lost their lives on 9/11 but to also remember our fallen brothers and sisters in the
years leading up to and current as first responders.
Why: We will be completing 10 laps at the Bayshore arena in FULL Turnout gear or whatever your
profession would be wearing in response to 9/11. We will be completing these laps to show what
the men and women that day had to endure as the climbed the towers to rescue anybody they
could.
When: September 8th, 2024, stair climb begins at 10:30 am, sign in begins at 9:30 am.
Where: The Bayshore Arena in Owen Sound Ontario, 1900 3rd Avenue East, Owen Sound Ontario
Information for Vendors
Who: We are open to anyone in the mental health, first responder organizations, health and
wellness or anyone who would like to be set up at our event.
What: bring your newest tools or equipment to show off, bring your items for sale, or just bring your
information to provide to local first responders and community members.
You will need to provide your own tables for your displays, please let us know if you require power
and how many people in your booth so we can arrange chairs.
When: September 8th, 2024, participants will begin to arrive around 9:30am, booth setups
recommended between 9:00 am and 9:30 am this gives you some exposure to the participants
coming in. Opening ceremonies begin around 10:30 am.
