Wilson, Gary Lee of Port Stanley passed Friday, June 15th, 2018, at the L.H.S.C. (Victoria Campus), at the age of 59. Dearly loved husband of Dianne Lynn (Golem) Wilson and loved father of Jocelyne Asselin (Dan) and Courtnee Campbell (Brad). Proud Papa of Erik, Hunter, Keegan, Haylee and Brock. Loved son of Gary and Virginia (Taylor) Wilson. Dear brother of Chris Fielding (Jason), George Wilson (Sharon) and Taylor Wilson (Ann). Dear brother-in-law of Glenn Golem, Mark Golem (Jenn) and Linda Lawrence. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews. He was born in St. Thomas on March 6, 1959. Gary was the Fire Chief for Southwold Township. He was retired from St. Joseph’s Regional Health Care Centre.
The funeral service to celebrate Gary’s life will be held at the Masonic Centre of Elgin, 42703 Fruit Ridge Line, St. Thomas on Wednesday, June 20th at 11:00 a.m. Private interment in Union Cemetery. Visitation at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Southwold Fire Department.
