The Windsor-Essex County Humane Society is praising local firefighters for helping rescue a cat.
Rosie the house cat had escaped from her home and was trapped and scared high up in a tree, according to a post from the shelter on social media.
“Thank you to Windsor Fire Engine 5 for helping our Animal Protection Officer retrieve her and return her safely home!” said the post.
Rosie and the firefighters posed for a photo after the rescue.
