The fire is being investigated by North Bay Police and an investigator from North Bay Fire. Deputy Fire Chief Greg Saunders says he believes this morning's shed fire was deliberately set.

"The cause of the fire is suspicious and being investigated by North Bay Police and an investigator from North Bay Fire," Saunders said in an email.

At approximately 8:30 this morning fire crews from Station 1 and Station 2 responded to a fire at 987 Tilley Street.

"Fire crews were on the scene in four minutes," said Saunders. "On arrival firefighters were faced with a fully involved fire in a large shed which was located very close to the home and causing significant fire damage to the home.  Fire crews were able to protect the home from further damage and very quickly extinguish the fire."

There was nobody home at the time of the fire.
