On behalf of the Emergency Services Department, I am pleased to announce that Ryan Jagoe will be the Deputy Fire Chief with the Town of East Gwillimbury effective Monday November 25, 2013.
Ryan currently is a paid-on-call, part-time firefighter out of our Holland Landing Station having held the rank of Captain since 2011.
Ryan comes to us from York Region EMS where he has been working for 11 years as a Paramedic and Superintendent. He is responsible for daily operational activities, staffing and direct supervision of employees, conducting internal investigations, WSIB documentation and report writing.
Ryan is currently pursuing his professional education in Ryerson’s Public Administration and Governance program. He is also a graduate of the Ontario Fire College and Centennial College.
