An early-morning fire has been deemed suspicious by Orillia’s fire chief.
The Orillia Fire Service responded to a house fire early Friday morning at 136 Barrie Road in Orillia.
The fire was quickly extinguished, however Fire Chief Chris Ferry has called in both the Ontario Provincial Police, as well as the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office to investigate.
“The damage was contained to the vestibule of the house,” Ferry said.
There are no reported injuries, he confirmed.
Drivers have been asked to avoid Barrie Road from Dunedin Street to Wyandotte Street.
