Gearing up for another busy haunted fire hall Halloween event

Some 8,000 people passed through Station 1 on Halloween night in 2023 so donations are needed to help meet the demand and make this year's event fun for all ages.

The traditional Halloween fun is back for another year at North Bay Fire and Emergency Services Station 1.

Everyone, regardless of age, is invited to attend the Halloween festivities on Oct. 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. (or until the candy supply lasts).

The popular Halloween night Haunted Fire Hall event returned in 2023 following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic and 8,000 Halloween revellers turned out.

Organizers are reaching out to the community for assistance to help make the event a success and are in need of the following items:

  • Wrapped candy and chips
  • Pumpkins of various sizes
  • Corn stalks
  • Cash donations are also greatly appreciated

Donations can be dropped off at Station 1, located at 119 Princess West. Or, for those who require it, pick-up arrangements can be made by calling 705-474-5662.

North Bay Fire and Emergency Services extends its appreciation to the community for its support in making this a safe and enjoyable Halloween treat for the children in North Bay.
