Police, Ontario Fire Marshal investigating Niagara Falls house fire

Niagara police and the Ontario Fire Marshal have launched an investigation into a house fire in Niagara falls on Thursday.

Officers and the Niagara Falls Fire Department were called to a home in the area of Willmott Street and Valley Way for reports of a fire around 4:09 p.m.

First responders arrived to find the house fully engulfed in flames.

Police have not disclosed whether there was anyone in the home, however Niagara EMS says there were no patients taken to hospital from the scene.

There is no word yet on the extent of damages or cause of the fire.

The incident is now being investigated by the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office, along with local detectives and firefighters.
