Horton’s Fire Department will be putting on some free Halloween fun for young ghouls and ghosts.

Fire Chief Allan Cole tells us more about what’s going down at the Fire Hall at 2253 Johnston Road tonight, Tuesday, October 31st, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Chief Cole adds that the fright level will be perfect for the little creatures in the family looking to start their Halloween off on the right foot ahead of canvassing the neighbourhood for candy.

The night has become a Halloween tradition for the Horton Fire Department, and Chief Cole says it’s a great opportunity to talk about important fire safety tips.

Cole says Sparky the Fire Dog will make an appearance at the Fire Hall tonight, and kids will be treated to refreshments and a gift bag full of goodies.
