Ed Mohr named Fire Chief for the West Perth Fire Department
Mitchell – March 26, 2013 – Edward Mohr has been selected as the new Fire Chief for the Municipality of West Perth, effective April 8.
Ed, who is a 26 year veteran of the West Perth Fire Department leaves his role as Captain to take on the top position.
“Ed’s experience in the fire service along with his twenty plus years as a self employed electrical contractor will be an asset to the department”, said Mayor Walter McKenzie. He brings with him valuable budget planning, resource management and customer service skills.
Special thanks are in order to Deputy Fire Chief Phil Graul, who has assumed the role of Acting Chief during this transition.
The Municipal Council and the Senior Management Team welcomes and looks forward to working along with Mr. Mohr.
