BENOIT, Hubert - Mr. Hubert Richard Benoit of Crysler at the Ottawa Hospital - Civic Campus on Tuesday March 19, 2013 at the age of 70 years. Past Fire Chief and Volunteer Firefighter for 44 years. Beloved husband of 48 years to Ghislaine (née Bissonnette) Benoit. Loved father of Joanne Benoit (Richard Proulx), and Jacques Benoit (Hope Dillabough). Proud grandfather to Cody, Alexis, Elissa and Cedric. Dear brother of Louise Fox (late Don), Adele Jackson (Norm) and Claire Wilson (Ronald). Also survived by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Predeceased by his grandson Cody; parents Rosario and Mabel (née Provost) Benoit; his brothers John (Gaye), André (Sandra), Michel (Nicole) and sisters Francoise Nugent (late Robert) and Madeleine LeVoguer (Rae).
Resting at the Crysler Community Centre, 16 Third Street, Crysler, Ontario where visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 9-10:30 am.
The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in Notre Dame du Rosaire Roman Catholic Church, Crysler on Wednesday March 27, 2013 at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal at a later date in Notre Dame du Rosaire Parish Cemetery, Crysler.
