Peacefully in his sleep at his residence on Saturday, June 29, 2024, Andrew Mailer passed away in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Helen (Garrett) Mailer for 32 years. Proud and loving father of Dan Mailer and his wife Annemarie of London, Wendy Martin and her husband Jamie of Rockwood, and loving step-dad of Christopher Figgures and his wife Andrea of Balm Beach and Lisa Joworski and her husband Brad of London. Adoring Gramps of Ashley, Briana, Kendra, Lindsay, Brailyn, Lucas and Caden. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters.
Andrew was a proud member of the London Fire Department for 30 years and took great pride in serving his community as a Captain.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 10-11 am, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11 am, with Reverend Dr. Jeffrey P. Crittenden officiating.
