Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday October 24, 2012. William Larry Hurlbert, age 73 years.
Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth Edna Jackson and Milford Henry Hurlbert. Best friend and soul mate to Patricia Grace (Stoddart) Hurlbert. Loving father to Marie (Dave) Howard, Bill (Shari) Hurlbert. Grandchildren Benjamin, Michael Howard, Shae-Lynn, Jadyn Hurlbert. Brother to Late Betty (Donny Oakes), Joan (Late Chris) Guerard and the late Clarence (Shirley) Hurlbert.Son in law to Irene Stoddart of (Vitoria BC)and the late Fred Stoddart. Brother in Law to Jim (Kathleen) Stoddart, Bob (Patsy) Stoddart. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Sunday October 28, 2012 for visitation from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Trinity United Church on Monday October 29, 2012 at 11 AM. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. Donations in memory of Bill to CHEO would be appreciated. TO ALL LANARK COUNTY FIRE FIGHTERS
There will be a wake for retired Smiths Falls Fire Chief and County Fire Coordinator William Hurlbert on Sunday, October 28, 2012.
All Firefighters are asked to meet at the Smiths Falls Fire Hall at 18:15 hrs.
Firefighters shall be in dress uniform.
The funeral is Monday, October 29, 2012 at 11:00 hrs. at the United Church.
