Police are looking for three suspects who fled the scene of a suspicious fire in Erin where a house was fully engulfed in flames.

Wellington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say the blaze happened around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday on Player Drive, a new street in Erin.

An email from police to 570 NewsRadio says the Erin Fire Department “reported the residence was fully engulfed in flames, and that no other new builds nearby were affected thanks to their efforts and quick response.”

Officials say the house was unoccupied at the time, and no one was hurt.

The OPP has deemed the fire “suspicious in nature.”
