The Township of Muskoka Lakes is reviewing options for Fire Station locations, through a Fire Station Location Study with consultants, Emergency Management Group.
Fire Chief Ryan Murrell says “At this point in the project we are soliciting feedback from the public respecting the three options presented to Committee.”
Two public feedback sessions are scheduled including:
- Monday June 17, 2024 – 6:00 pm at the Bala Community Centre, and
- Wednesday June 19, 2024 – 6:00 pm at the Township of Muskoka Lakes Municipal Office, in Port Carling.
These sessions are designed to inform the public about the locations in use today, explore the options presented and most importantly receive information to inform a final report.
