If you have a budding firefighter in your family, now is the time to sign up for a summer day camp being offered by the town.
New Tecumseth Fire Rescue and Emergency Services has partnered with New Tecumseth Parks, Recreation and Culture Department to create a Junior Firefighter Camp.
The camp is designed to focus on fire and personal safety, the basics of fire cause and prevention, firefighting equipment and the importance of teamwork.
Youth aged 9 – 13 will participate in traditional day camp programming such as games, activities and crafts as well as fire specific programming.
The week long camp will conclude with a Junior Firefighter Graduation Ceremony.
