CORNWALL – Fire Chief Pierre Voisine has been recognized for his career in firefighting by the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs.
The CAFC presented Pierre Voisine with a Career Fire Chief of the Year Award last night (Wednesday) during its Annual General Meeting in Ottawa.
In a YouTube video highlight reel for the award presentation, various people during his career, like Coun. Bernadette Clement, highlighted his “great energy to his leadership role” in firefighting. The video also touches on his musical background and his focus on fire safety.
Voisine has been Cornwall’s fire chief since April 27, 2015.
