The only municipalities that haven’t issued burn bans yet include South Glengarry, South Stormont and Cornwall.
Burn bans are issued due to unusually dry and hot weather. Bans include no campfires, no incinerator burns, no fireworks, no torches, no lanterns and no agricultural fires; no burning in general.
These burn bans will remain in effect until further notice.
