Robert Denzil Lock
November 10, 1949 – September 29, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family announce his unexpected death on Thursday, September 29, 2023 at the age of 73 years. Born in Newton Abbot, England, Robert, but known by all as Bob, was the son Teresa Mary Lock (nee O’Neil), and Elliot Denis Lock both predeceased. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Leclair) Lock for 45 years. Loving father of Jacqueline Lock, Jeff (Julie) Lock and Jessica (Jeremy) Lock. Brother of John (predeceased), Richard (Nora Lee) and David (Paula). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Meaghan, Makayla, Madison, Logan, Emily and Erin, and great grandchildren: Memphis, Emileena, Lincoln & Aubrey.
Bob started his career working for the Ontario Provincial Police and then transferring to the Office of the Fire Marshal and retiring in 2007. Shortly after retiring he became a Northern Ontario Regional Sales Manager for Fort Garry Fire Trucks, where he and Dorothy through this employment feel Rick and Marty Suche and all of Fort Garry became like family.
In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his shed puttering around and working in the back yard. In his early years he enjoyed his golfing trips away with his buddies and loved to travel to his favourite place in Boynton Beach, Florida.
As per Bob’s wishes there will be no service.
