TTC service resumes after fire at Ossington Station

CTV News

The TTC says service has resumed on Line 2 after a fire at Ossington Station Wednesday morning.

Service was suspended between Keele and St. George stations sometime after 6 a.m.

At least 40 shuttle buses were running along the stretch of nine subway stations, before service came back online just before 8 a.m.

The service suspension came amid a winter weather travel advisory in Toronto, which Environment Canada said could also impact the morning commute.

Last night, more than 50 bus stops were taken out of service due to the snowfall.

Earlier this week, two city councillors filed a motion to investigate the recent service issues on the TTC.
