Waterloo Regional Police have charged a man with arson in connection to a fire in Kitchener on Monday morning.
Emergency crews responded at about 10:40 a.m. for a report of a fire at a multi-unit residential building in the area of Charles Street East and Eby Street.
The fire was contained to one unit; no one was hurt.
Police charged a 37-year-old man with arson — disregard for human life.
The investigation by police and the Office of the Fire Marshal is continuing.
