Smoke and flames could be seen coming from the Greystone Club in Waterloo early Friday morning as a fire broke out.
It happened around 5 a.m. at the racquet club on Northfield Drive. No one was inside at the time.
Waterloo’s Deputy Fire Chief, Sandy van Solm, said at least $1-million in damage was caused.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
