 $5,000 boost for firefighter training

Enbridge awarded $5,000 to the Timmins Fire Department to help purchase firefighting training and educational materials. The funding was provided through an Enbridge program called Project Assist which supplements existing training for volunteer and composite fire departments in Ontario. A total donation of $100,000 was made to 20 Ontario fire departments, including Timmins, and equally dispersed.
