PSHSA is the result of a bold move to reorganize the independent efforts of 3 respected health and safety leaders into 1 streamlined organization in order to better serve our clients.
PSHSA is a not-for-profit association created by the amalgamation of three respected health and safety leaders – the Education Safety Association of Ontario (ESAO), the Municipal Health and Safety Association (MHSA) and the Ontario Safety Association for Community and Healthcare (OSACH). With long legacies as leading providers of health and safety information, products and services, these organizations were trusted advisors for thousands of clients across Ontario.
In 2009, PSHSA was established with the amalgamation of these three organizations. Today, we serve more than 10,000 organizations and over 1.7 million workers across Ontario’s public and broader public sectors, including education and culture, community and healthcare, municipal and provincial government, and emergency services.
