QUINTE WEST - Firefighters from Quinte West Station # 1 responded to the Trenton Golf Course on King Street Wednesday morning. Numerous 911 calls were received reporting the club house was on fire, As crews arrived on scene it was reported the garage beside the club house was on fire. Quinte West Fire Chief John Whelan praised the full-time and volunteer firefighters for the quick response and getting the flames knocked down before they could spread to the adjacent buildings. Quinte West OPP, Hydro One and Union gas also responded to the scene. Investigation is under way. There were no injuries.
