The cause of a fire that destroyed a camp on Rainy Lake last weekend remains undetermined.
The chief of the Watten Volunteer Fire Department, Chris Giguere, said his crew responded to the alarm at about 4:00 a.m. Saturday when a call came in from Boucher Road, across the lake from Windy Point Bridge.
Firefighters from Couchiching First Nation were also deployed under a mutual aid agreement.
No injuries were reported.
Giguere praised the efforts of the firefighters who spent about five hours on the scene.
The camp was levelled, and he said a detached garage also sustained some damage from the fire.
