The two-alarm fire broke out at a commercial property in the West Drive and Clark Boulevard area of the city, Brampton Fire and Emergency Service said just before 9 p.m. on Thursday.

The fire presented some difficulties but no injuries were reported.

“Firefighters are still actively performing firefighting operations while working with plant employees to resolve this challenging fire,” Brampton Fire said just after 11 p.m.

Brampton Fire didn’t name the business.

Finally, by 12:30 a.m., the incident commander declared the fire under control. Crews remained on scene overnight for a fire watch.

The Office of the Fire Marshal was notified.

This is the second commercial fire this month. A two-alarm fire broke at 100 Kennedy Rd. S. on March 20.

There were also several house fires in March, including one that involved an explosion.
