The Windsor Police Service is investigating a suspicious fire on Cowan Court in Amherstburg.
Amherstburg Fire Department Deputy Chief Ron Meloche told CTV News they responded to a structure fire around 5 a.m. Saturday morning.
The fire required a full three station response, consisting of about 37 firefighters.
Crews contained the fire within “a couple hours,” Meloche said.
There were no injuries; however, it’s estimated the fire caused an estimated $750,000 in damages.
Windsor police confirmed to CTV News the fire is being treated as suspicious and that the property has been the target of previous arson attempts.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
