Kingston Fire & Rescue Announces Retirement for Deputy Fire Chief Neville Murphy

Neville Murphy, Deputy Fire Chief, will be officially retiring from the City of Kingston as of March 31st, 2019.
 
Neville joined the City of Kingston in 1984 and served the community for over 34 years in fire services. 
 
Neville progressed through the ranks and held various portfolios including fire suppression (career and volunteer), communications, fire prevention, training, and mechanical division.  During his career Neville served as a Director for the Executive with the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs and greatly contributed to the development of the Ontario Fire Services Memorial space at Queens Park.
 
Neville is respected as a knowledgeable and dedicated leader at the City and in the broader fire services community. His invaluable contributions will be greatly missed.
