Queen's Park Advocacy Day
What is an Advocacy Day?
An Advocacy Day is an effective and an efficient tool in developing and furthering the relationship between the fire service industry and Members of Provincial Parliament (MPP) from all political parties. It is an opportunity for chief fire officers from across Ontario to come together as one voice to share our vision of fire and life safety.
What will you be required to do?
You will be required to attend at least one of the Queen's Park Advocacy Training sessions prior to the event. The dates and times for the training sessions are April 14 1pm to 2pm EST and April 14 7pm to 8pm EST. On the day of Queen's Park Advocacy Day you are required to be at Queen's Park for 8:00am EST and will be assigned meetings to attend throughout the day. We ask that all attendees also stay for the reception that takes place at the end of the day.
