The Ontario Native Fire Fighters Society (ONFFS) will be hosting their Annual General Meeting, Fire Prevention & Protection Conference, and Firefighter Competition in Six Nations Reserve this August 10-12, 2023.

Ontario's First Nation firefighters—along with delegates and trainers from across the province—will be in attendance, share knowledge, and help each other become stronger firefighters and educators.

The Ontario Native Fire Fighters Society (ONFFS) has been in existence for over 30 years. The primary focus of the ONFFS is to lobby for and promote initiatives in Ontario First Nations communities that support fire prevention education, enhancement of existing fire protection services/infrastructure and First Nation firefighter development.

The ONFFS mission is to provide all Ontario First Nations with a well trained professional organization, to prevent, or safely minimize loss of life and property from fire and other emergencies, at the highest level within the resources available.
