TRACK G:  MLFTU Live Fire Attack

Course Description

This training session will cover JPRs listed in NFPA 1001 Standard for Fire Firefighter Professional Qualifications utilizing the Mobile Live Fire Training Unit. The MLFTU is a self-contained live fire trailer that allows fire departments to complete many NFPA 1001 Firefighter I and II, Ontario Seals, and Firefighter-Exterior requisite skills. The MLFTUs have a flexible configuration that includes four (4) propane-fire props (including a roll-over prop), pre-piped smoke generators, a pop-up second story, three (3) people-doors, several windows and interchangeable interior walls and doors to enhance the training experience. Skills include Laddering for rescue, fire suppression and ventilation, Door entry procedures, Hose management, Interior fire suppression, Exterior fire suppression, Search and Rescue, Radio procedures, and Operating within an Incident Management System (IMS).

NOTE: You will be inspecting and donning your equipment on the first morning, where you will demonstrate competency to the instructor team. You must provide proof of having been successfully FIT tested to your SCBA and you will report each morning clean shaven.
