Emergency North Training (ENT) Inc. 2024-25 Board of Directors Nominee Campaigns

The online nomination form for the 2024-25 Emergency North Training (ENT) Inc. Board of Directors is now CLOSED! 

The Emergency North Training Inc. 2024-25 Board of Directors Election nominations are now open.  The online nominations will close Monday, September 23, 2024 at 4:00pm EST.  

Emergency North Training Board of Directors Elections Process

1. As per Article 12 of the Emergency North Training Inc. Constitution, the ENT Board has appointed Mark MacDonald, Executive Director from the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs (OAFC) as Chief Returning Officer and Nominations Committee Chair to oversee the elections process. Due to ENT members being spread across a wide geographic region, an online nominations process was approved by the Nominations Committee to ensure all eligible voters have an opportunity to cast their ballot.

2. On Monday, September 9, 2024, online nominations will go live. As per Article 8 of the Emergency North Training Inc. Constitution, members from every fire team providing fire protective services to a; municipal, unincorporated or First Nations community in the Districts of Kenora, Rainy River or Thunder Bay are considered active members, and may nominate another member.  As per Article 10 of the Emergency North Training Inc. Constitution one member each shall be elected for the following Districts:

  • Kenora,
  • Rainy River,
  • Thunder Bay,
  • Four (4) remaining member(s) shall be elected from the region at large.

To nominate someone in one, or more district, you will be required to complete the online nominations form. Please note that all nominations must be seconded by another member. Members are not permitted to self-nominate.
