FSQE 100 - FPPA and POA Foundations
This course introduces the foundational principles of fire prevention, protection, and administration (FPPA) as well as the Provincial Offences Act (POA). This course covers the basics of the Canadian legal system, the application of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act (FPPA), and the Provincial Offences Act (POA). Students will learn to navigate and apply relevant directives and guidelines, understand the roles and responsibilities of fire safety officials, and explore compliance and adjudication processes for fire safety offences.
